Espotel recognised for 15 years’ cooperation with National Instruments

Finland’s leading embedded systems and testing specialist Espotel has been recognised at National Instruments’ (NI) annual Northern Europe Alliance Day 2014 event for its long and rewarding cooperation with NI.
“Due to this long cooperation, Espotel has excellent knowledge of National Instruments’ product range. Espotel’s designers are able to utilise our product range in the best possible way in applications and solutions for clients in different sectors. Training of designers and continuous development of expertise are an important part of this partnership,” says Rene Voorhorst, NI’s Sales Director for Northern Europe.
“We are delighted to have received this award. Espotel started utilising NI’s products in production testing, and Espotel’s own Procket testing platform is to a large extent based on NI’s technology. We also utilise their products continually in product development testing. In addition to scheduling and cost-saving benefits, we have been able to improve the repeatability and quality of tests using automated testing,” explains Espotel Business Unit Director, Tero Leppänen.
Nowadays, NI’s solutions are not only used in testing but also in industrial internet applications such as condition monitoring and automation.
“By seamlessly combining NI’s measuring devices and software with cloud solutions and mobile software, we can offer clients real-time visibility for their own processes. This solution ensures fast, cost-effective and risk-free access to the market," adds Leppänen.
Espotel currently employs 16 certified LabVIEW and TestStand specialists. Espotel has been a member of the NI Alliance Partner Network since 1999, and last year became a Gold Alliance Partner.
